At Family Protection Dogs our methods of training produce kid friendly and reliable family protection dogs!

Many of our clients come to Family Protection Dogs with one of two issues.

•     A protection dog that doesn’t perform. – They’ve purchased a family protection dog elsewhere and the dog has not performed during an actual confrontation! This is a very common problem we see. Those dogs are trained in “playtection” and not protection.

•     An aggressive protection dog. – The dogs are aggressive towards others and owners simply don’t feel safe, especially when around their children.

Real Life Scenarios 

In real life, an assailant will not be wearing a big puffy bite suit or a chew toy on their arm. This is why we train using hidden sleeves and muzzle attacks so you’ll never have to worry about the reaction of your dog when the situation arises.

Varied Locations 

We vary the locations our dogs are trained in so they will be ready to protect in any situation. We train in locations such as: parks, houses, abandoned buildings, cars, stores, and back alleys.

Socialized 

Our highly socialized dogs have been on airplanes, to shopping malls, hotels, jogging, amusement parks, movie theaters, grocery stores, and even Walt Disney World!

Obedient 

Our dogs have perfect obedience. They also have wonderful car and house manners. Put them on their “place” and they will stay until released.

Animal-Friendly 

We teach them to be animal-friendly, and obedient around other dogs and animals! We train our dogs around many other dogs (big and small), cats, and even a pony.

Family Dogs

All dogs trained by Family Protection Dogs are fully integrated into the home environment. Our dogs stay in our home with us. They don’t live in a kennel for 2 years then get tossed into your home like with other trainers. We treat our dogs like family because they are!
