Would you come closer if this dog was foaming at the mouth barking at you?

Our family protection dogs are taught a “guard” command. The guard command means the dog stays by your side barking aggressively at whomever you tell the dog to bark at. The dog is to stay by your side unless the threat touches you or continues to move closer and gets within a 3 foot radius. The dog will guard you fearlessly! So would you come closer if a dog was foaming at the mouth barking at you? Probably not! Neither will a bad guy, and if they decide to chance it…. the dog will bite!
